Albany Lettings’ Christmas Appeal with Social Bite

At Christmas many of us look forward to warmth, familiar routines and time spent with the people we care about. But for thousands across Scotland and the UK the festive season can be incredibly difficult. That is why this year Albany Lettings is supporting Social Bite, a charity doing remarkable work to help people who are homeless or vulnerable at a time when they need safety, compassion and support the most.

Social Bite provides meals essentials employment opportunities and long term support for people experiencing homelessness. Their mission this winter is ambitious and deeply important. They aim to deliver three hundred thousand meals, gifts and essential items to people who would otherwise go without. Their teams work across Scotland and beyond offering dignity, hope and practical help every single day including Christmas Day.

This year we want to do our part.

 

🎄 Our Goal: Provide Two Hundred Christmas Dinners

A contribution of one thousand pounds allows Social Bite to provide two hundred Christmas dinners for people who might otherwise spend the day cold, hungry and alone. It is a simple gesture that carries enormous impact. A warm meal offered with compassion and care is a reminder that someone is thinking about them at a time that can feel incredibly isolating.

For Albany Lettings this partnership feels natural and meaningful. Our work centres around home safety and stability. These are things thousands of people across the country do not currently have access to. Supporting Social Bite is our way of helping bridge that gap and standing with those who need it most.

Every year more individuals and families find themselves without a secure home. Rising rents, a shortage of affordable housing and increased living costs have pushed many into temporary accommodation or unsafe situations. Across the UK countless people now face Christmas without warmth, without stability and without the comfort many of us associate with the season.

Social Bite’s Christmas campaign responds directly to this growing need by providing essential warmth and community to people navigating extremely challenging circumstances.
